The most memorable journeys are rarely the ones packed with checklists and over-scheduled days. They are the ones where you linger over a long lunch, discover a neighborhood café you wish you could return to every morning, and feel—if only for a few days—like you truly belong.
That is the kind of travel I believe in.
I created The Field Guide to help thoughtful travelers experience the world with depth, ease, and intention. My approach blends the structure and confidence of expertly planned itineraries with the spontaneity and authenticity that make travel feel personal.
You’ll see the iconic sights, of course. But you’ll also have the chance to wander local markets, settle into beautiful boutique hotels, and uncover the quieter moments that give a destination its soul.
The Field Guide is designed for travelers who value meaningful experiences over busy schedules. For those who appreciate exceptional service, understated luxury, and the feeling of having every detail handled without ever feeling over-managed.
Whether you’re planning a long-awaited European escape, a celebratory journey, or simply want to travel more intentionally, I curate each itinerary to reflect your pace, your interests, and the way you want to feel when you’re away.
Because the best trips don’t just show you a destination.
They help you experience it.

A More Personal Note
My name is Gabriela, and my love for travel began with a life shaped by three very different places: Honduras — my country of birth, the United States — my adopted country, and England — where I completed my studies.
Each one has left its mark on the way I move through the world and deepened my appreciation for the distinct rhythm, character, and perspective that every place has to offer.
Moving between cultures taught me early on that every destination has its own way of revealing itself. It also sparked a curiosity that has taken me to cities and countries across the globe—some for the first time, and others again and again.
For the past several years, my 9-to-5 in the aerospace industry has given me the opportunity to travel extensively, allowing me to experience cities I might not have otherwise considered and to return to places I initially found intimidating as a visitor, but came to love overtime. Traveling for work showed me how rewarding it can be to step into the cadence of daily life — finding the neighborhood coffee shop before a morning meeting, returning to a favorite restaurant after a long day, and discovering the small details that reveal a city’s true character
What I’ve found is that the places I return to often become the ones I love most.
With each visit, a city begins to unfold in new ways. Familiar streets feel richer, favorite cafés become traditions, and neighborhoods reveal details that are easy to miss when you’re rushing through. The more time I spend in a place, the more connected to it I feel.
That belief is at the heart of The Field Guide.
I design journeys that go beyond seeing the highlights to help you experience the texture of a destination—its culture, its pace, and the small moments that make it memorable. My goal is to create trips that feel effortless, personal, and deeply rewarding.
Because the best travel doesn’t just introduce you to a place.
It invites you to fall in love with it.
